Open Data
Derived database published 12 August 2026 · ODbL 1.0
Movyneo bundles a database derived from Open Food Facts, which is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. That licence has a share-alike clause: if you publicly use a derived database, you must offer it back under the same terms. This page is how we do that.

What is in it
Only the rows that originate from Open Food Facts. USDA FoodData Central entries are public domain and are not part of this share-alike obligation; our own recipe rows are not derived from Open Food Facts and are excluded as well. The export contains the fields the app actually uses: names, brand, category, energy and macronutrients, a nutrients JSON blob, search terms, barcodes and portion sizes.
Attribution
Contains information from Open Food Facts (world.openfoodfacts.org), made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. Individual product contents may be under other licences as stated by Open Food Facts.
If you reuse it
You are free to copy, distribute and adapt this database. If you publicly use an adapted version, ODbL requires you to release your adapted database under ODbL as well, and to keep this attribution. The full terms are in the licence file.
