Terms of Use

Movyneo is not a medical device. It is an information and self-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or a registered dietitian.
1. Agreement
By downloading or using Movyneo (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is published by Burak Akbay (“we”, “us”).
2. Health disclaimer
The app calculates calorie and nutrient targets from formulas that are population averages, and from data you enter yourself. Individual needs vary. Nothing shown in the app is medical advice.
- Consult a qualified professional before starting any weight-loss or weight-gain programme, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, over 65, or living with diabetes, an eating disorder, kidney, liver, thyroid or cardiovascular disease.
- The app applies minimum calorie floors and maximum rate-of-change limits as a safety measure. These are conservative defaults, not a personalised clinical assessment.
- If you have or suspect an eating disorder, calorie tracking can be harmful. Please speak to a professional rather than relying on this or any similar app.
- Stop using the app and seek medical attention if you experience concerning symptoms.
3. Accuracy of nutrition data
Food information comes from USDA FoodData Central (public domain) and Open Food Facts (community-maintained, ODbL licensed), bundled with the app. Open Food Facts entries are contributed by the public and may be incomplete or wrong. Manufacturers also change recipes without notice.
The app shows the source of each food so you can judge it. We make no warranty that any nutrition figure is accurate, and you should treat all values as estimates. Always check the packaging for allergen information — never rely on this app for allergy or medical dietary decisions.
4. Your data and your responsibility
Your data is stored only on your device. We hold no copy and cannot recover it for you. If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose it without a backup, your data is gone permanently.
Keeping backups is your responsibility. The app provides a full CSV export and a PDF report so you can archive your data whenever you wish.
5. Subscriptions
The app is free to use. Movyneo Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. If you subscribe:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown for your subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device after purchase.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies — request them through reportaproblem.apple.com, as we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute or resell the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design and original content are our property. The bundled nutrition database derived from Open Food Facts is published under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0, and the derived database is made available as that licence requires. USDA FoodData Central content is in the public domain.
8. Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any health outcome, arising from use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the app develops. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.
